Job Description

In the role of a counselor, you have a central function where you offer support and conversations to patients with various needs. You work independently but also in close collaboration with other professions at the health center to create the best possible care and security for the patients.

The work consists of assessments, counseling, and talk therapy, preferably with a focus on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), as well as rehabilitative interventions both individually and in groups. If you are interested in the role of rehabilitation coordinator, there is an opportunity to combine the position with this.

When you start with us, you will receive an introduction adapted to your experience and competence to give you a secure start in the organization. You will be offered ongoing professional supervision in your role as a counselor.

Qualifications

We welcome you who have a degree in Social Work and preferably training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy equivalent to Step 1. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. If you are a licensed health and social care counselor, it is a requirement to have Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care as well as knowledge of collaboration with the municipality and other external actors.

You work patient-focused, have good collaboration skills, and contribute to a good work climate. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsible, and thrive in an organization where workdays may vary.
